For about a month we’ve been letting Tristan sleep in our bed. I know, we’re becoming the people we said we’d never be (putting headbands on her, spoiling her with our own bed… but it’s all worth it). Look at this peaceful beauty… you would let her in your bed too wouldn’t you?

Nerd Conference & Tristan’s Collar

This weekend I went to WordCamp Dallas — a conference for WordPress geeks like myself. It’s an assortment of nerdy bloggers and uber-nerdy web designers.

I loved it. For those that don’t know, I’m a web designer, but more specifically I use WordPress to power all of my websites. Most people know WordPress as blogging software, but it can be a lot more than that and that’s what I do with it.

Also, Kasey bought Tristan a new, hot pink collar. Ugh.

Denton Dog Days

We met our friends the Bohlins — proud parents of a handsome Golden, Calvin — at Denton Dog Days! We had a great time & I wanted to share our photos. We started to realize how big our lab is going to be when we met other lab puppies older than Tristan with paws half her size. We all had a great time!

You should go get a dog, because they make life so much fun. I asked Patrick if it was okay to say on our blog that we think Tristan is probably cuter than our kids will be. He said it was fine, as long as we delete this post before our kids can read. Ha! Here are some things we’ve been up to with Tristan:
