Our marriage is officially three weeks and one day old & everyday has been sweet & enjoyable. Our place is really coming together — we’ll post pictures soon. We’re into a morning routine that we’re really liking. Patrick taught me how to make fluffy scrambled eggs. I don’t really like eggs & I’ve really only made them once in my life. But now I know how & I’m eating them almost everyday with my husband.

Patrick got a new TV this week & it’s been fun to watch the Olympics on it. Some would’ve argued that we could’ve used a couch before a TV, but a friend helped us find a good deal & so we went for it!

It’s fun to have a husband to plan life with. We’re talking about our future, what sort of things we might want to do. We don’t know what this year will look like, how we will serve in the church, what is in store for us professionally, what interesting places we will try to go to… but we’re figuring it all out slowly. We were at the bank this weekend & the very nice personal banker we were meeting with was asking us when we’ll be looking into a mortgage. Lots of our friends are having babies. We’re married. We feel so grown up — it’s pretty exciting. Tawni, our niece, was over having dinner one night & Patrick realized he is her uncle! We have in-laws!
