dc Talk Rant

I have always loved dc Talk’s music. They’re great singers & song writers.

But even though they have great songs, do they need to re-release them ALL the time? This list doesn’t include the actual LPs they’ve released.

  • 2009 –> “The Ultimate Collection”, 24 songs of past.
  • 2008 –> “Greatest Hits (2008)”, 12 songs of past (1 remix).
  • 2007 –> “Greatest Hits”, 16 songs (some album version, some re-recorded)
  • 2007 –> “Double Take”, 1 disc is exactly the same as the first disc from 2006,
  • 2006 –> “Jesus Freak 10th Anniversary”
  • 2006 –> “Top 5: Hits”
  • 2006 –> “Jesus Freak Single”
  • 2003 –> “dc Talk Remixes”, 4 songs
  • 2003 –> “8 Great Hits”
  • 2002 –> “Free At Last 10th Anniversary Edition”
  • 2000 –> “Intermission: Greatest Hits”, 19 songs

This blows my mind. In the past THREE YEARS they have released SEVEN “greatest hits” CDs. I’m sure they all sell fairly well. I would just think they’d realize what a joke it is at some point.
