We cannot believe how much she has grown in the two weeks we have had her *see the Tristan page of our blog.  She gets us to go outside more often than we were used to & she makes it so easy to meet people! We didn’t really want to be the pet owners who consider themselves the parents of their animals (as we had nothing to do with her creation). But it’s hard for me to not feel that way… so I’ve resolved to calling us Mama & Papa. Mommy & Daddy will be reserved for our actual children. Come over to see her (& us) any time. We think you’ll love her as much as we do!

A few other random updates on us… We’re starting to realize that now is the time to buy a house. We actually met with a financial adviser & after looking at our situation, he thinks we should move it to priority #1. Priority #2 is Kasey’s Mom car — don’t worry, the Mom car will come far before the baby  — or so we’re planning.

Though we have these priorities, another thing Patrick & I love & consider important (& a privilege) is traveling. We did a ridiculous amount of research & ended up picking this unique earthy resort in Costa Rica (also allowing us the opportunity to visit Nicaragua). We think we’re gonna love it & we think we’re going to want to go back again someday with all of our friends & family. Start saving to come with us please : )

There are so many other things I could tell you all about, but I’ll keep it light.
